Everything is precious to me.
Whether it's a poem I've written, a rap I recorded or anything else that I find worth cherishing, I have a problem allowing these vulnerable pieces fall into the wrong hands.
This world has taught me that people are seeking love and attention in various ways. I often find myself worried that the wrong person will hear what I have to say and misinterpret my words.
Artists need to understand that when you allow your heart to be free, people are allowed to interpret the way their heart desires. Your work is no longer yours as the world connects to your offering. I offer my heart to you and my hope is that you don't ridicule or step on it.
But you know... sometimes you have to say fuck it.
Excuse me for the crude language.
Your offering to this world is your offering to this world. You deserve to have peace that your offering is what you needed for yourself at that time. Sometimes logic needs to sit down and allow your vulnerability to speak for a moment.
Let your vulnerability have a solo.
The audience will clap for you either way.
With that in mind, I present to you a piece of myself to you all.
I don't know how long I'll do this. This maybe a spur of the moment.
Who knows?
But I want you all to feel the love of this opinionated sport that I have chosen as a profession.
Here is a rough copy of a record called Point to Prove.
When I plan to release it on streaming and physical? We'll see.
